Transitional Storage Consulting Company, Confirmed the Layout of the Territory

His Excellency, the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Junior Trindade, along with Spatium Artem Consulting and Parrot Mali, accompanied by the Director-General of Commerce, Mr. Nelito Lima de Araújo, and the National Director of Foreign Trade, Mr. Mário Abrão, visited the construction site of the transitional storage at the Mota-Ain border.

 

This visit to the transitional storage site aimed to evaluate and introduce corrections to the layout presented by the company, based on the results of the feasibility study, which was presented on Thursday, September 26, in the Minister's office hall in Mandarin.

His Excellency, the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Junior Trindade, stated that the visit with the consulting firms aimed to adjust the presented layout, as some items need to be added.

“I am here today because yesterday the company presented the feasibility study report for the transitional storage, and I came to verify some corrections to the layout that was presented. Therefore, we are here today, along with the teams, to identify the necessary changes and expedite the process”, said the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry.

 

The Vice Minister also highlighted the good collaboration between the Director-General, the National Director, and the company, who discussed the points observed during the visit. The company will improve the layout so that they can engage again with the relevant ministerial lines.

“Today we made some corrections to the layout, and we also agreed that, before presenting the final result, all ministerial lines will participate in the presentation so that everyone is aware of this project”, said the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry.

According to the results of the feasibility study presented by the company, the transitional storage will occupy an area of 11 hectares and will include a space for processing and repackaging. Additionally, the site will feature a commercial area where people can buy products coming from Indonesia or intended for Timor-Leste.
